In this day and age of outrageous pricing of jersey-namebars this is clearly the only practical and economical move.

Not a big deal. An undersized 7th rounder not panning out? It happens.

Not a bad place to improve his abilities. He was very unlikely to get called up this year anyway.

Thank goodness. He's got plenty of talent, he needs to play and develop.

Barely played last time he was loaned to KHL. Hopefully this time goes better for him.

I remember being very impressed with his puck carrying ability a few training camps ago. Seemed like a high skill forward. I thought he would pan out but seeing the way Lafreniere is struggling makes me think Zav might not have all the tools necessary to make it. Zav's compete level seems to be less Mangiapane and more Ryan Howse.

He has 1 more year on his ELC but I wonder if this is the last we see of him in North America.

He looked great in previous camps. Hopefully he can get plenty of playing m/development time with this move

The system is chock-a-block with smallish offensive-minded forwards as it is. Phillips, Philp, Petterson and Pelletier. More on the way with Kerins and Francis.

At 5'11 190lbs Kerins isn't small. he got a lot of direction from his little stint with the heat last year on getting stronger and by all accounts he took it to heart.
