First - it's fun
Second - not everyone did that.
What makes the Oilers pathetic is their historic levels of failure coupled with a sense of entitlement.
In this case some fans are just having fun with a less than ideal state of the current team.
Not everything has to be serous.

Oilers: umpteenth 1st OA picks, good reason to find it annoying after so many.
Flames : Zero1st OA picks and would really like to have just 1 ...for once. Fans want to have a little hope and they aren't getting it from the management and roster.
