Yep. Washington lost the first 2 at home vs the Jackets and then won 4 straight.

You know the old hockey saying; "You aren't in trouble in a playoffs series until you lose a game on the road".

Excellent. Need Columbus to play Pittsburgh and lose so I can watch Tortillas lose his mind.

I agree with this guy.

Watching Tampa get crushed is almost as satisfying for me as oilers or nucks

This is shocking. 30 points spread these teams in the season.

So much holding being allowed by CBJ it's frankly disgusting.

Not even close.

The 1982 Kings upset the Oilers even though they were 48 points behind them in the standings, including coming back from a 5-0 deficit in one of the games.

Yeah but back then it was only a best of 5. I don't think the Kings win in a 7 game series. but damn go watch those highlights. Amazing stuff!

This goes to show the regular season point spread really doesn't matter. It's how your team is built and the character they play with.

just got home from the bar and can't believe my drunken eyes. 3-0 Jackets? lol. Them opening 2-0 on the road would make for a very interesting series ... still think Tampa would win in the end though.

I kind of get this feeling that Tampa isn't taking Columbus seriously. Thought it would be a cake walk...

But still, to be potentially down 2-0 heading back to Ohio? Yikes.

Now granted...they were in the same position last year, being up 2-0 heading home against the Caps...

Washington activated their secret weapon to win four straight games in that series last year. His name is Brayden Holtby, and unlike the Capitals, if Vasileski can’t finish this series Tampa does not have one.

I almost don't think CBJ lets that happen again this year.
