And every team in the playoffs is thankful to them. If the Flames don’t get their crap together, it could be a huge missed opportunity.

Gotta think this helps them possibly keeping Panarin and/or Bob now.

The farther they go the more likely they can get them to stay.

Tampa Bay is the first President's Trophy winner to not win a game in the playoffs.

... In the finals? I get it if you're a Bruins fan saying this, but there was always a less than 50% chance that the Lightning would make the finals anyway.

Leafs fans must be happy though.

Unless they win the cup. Then they’re both gone for sure.

Stunning upset...

anything can happen in the playoffs, but i doubt even the most ardent CBJ fan thought they would sweep TB...

gotta wonder if TB decides to shake things up for next year with that massive an upset

Did I hear that right? First time the top NHL team has been swept in round 1 since 1938!

I kind of hope the Flames were watching that game.

Mark my words. CBJ got lucky tonight. Tampa won't be such a pushover in game 5.

I actually did lose $100 to Enoch Root so I suppose you can take solace in that. It's quite a stunner that the Lightning could have a regular season like this only to get swept in four games. I'm still not exactly sure how it happened. I credit Tortorella, his staff, and the players for believing in themselves and executing but I still feel this is a series that the Lightning lost because they are clearly better than this.

Not a Tampa fan, that's embarrassing. But I just can't stand Torts.
