This is actually really, really good for hockey, for hockey fans.
If Columbus had gone all in and flopped and missed the playoffs you'd probably see a lot of GMs in the future look at that and be really gun shy about making big trades.
Now people will see this and think 'man, if we can make some huge deals maybe our team can do what Columbus did.'
I think it's really good for us fans.

Unreal. In all my years watching hockey, that was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. An 8th seed sweeping in absolutely dominant fashion, a team that had one of the best seasons in NHL history and the clear cut favourite to win the cup.
And their first series victory to boot.
I was on the Isles bandwagon out East. But it's the BJs now. Amazing win!
And I don't care what anyone says. Torts is an awesome coach.
