Speaking of Neil Young, I found this down a Youtube rabbit hole the other day. Pretty awesome switch of pace into Mr Soul with Stills some crazy dance moves, and their drummer dressed up like a game show host, and the bassist in the shadows. There are some pretty hard rock performances on these old wholesome looking variety shows.
I always enjoyed this clip, David Crosby is out of his tree, the whole thing is surreal

I watched the Get Back documentary on Disney+ and I've always liked the Beatles but now I've gone down the rabbit hole and really do appreciate what they did and how they did it. That rooftop performance at the end was so cool:

In an effort to share my love, I present Midlake; a band that had a peak in the early 2000's and could never quite replicate their genius. Their album Trials of VanOccupanther is an absolute triumph. I cannot say much more now, but it hits me right in the feels every time I listen to it.
To give you a sample, here are some tracks from the album. If you don't like them after this, I doubt you ever will:

I agree they've never put out anything as good as that record. They have a new record coming out and the first single is solid but still doesn't hit that heights of VanOccupanther.
