Can anyone recommend a really good place to get pizza in the SE for pickup/takeout? Something that would still be really good reheated. My wife is working as a Community Paramedic in Calgary and she offered to bring home some pizza tonight after her last shift this tour. It's a 2 hour drive home though so I'll be plenty hungry by then. lol Thanks for any suggestions. 🙂

Are the Bow Tie locations of varying quality? Had it twice now, and the first time was really good, then got it again from the same place and it was quite average. Not holding it against them too much, just wondering how variable it is.
What's a good place to get a donair pizza in the NW that's not Seniores? I remember someone talking about a place that opened up by ex-Seniores staff, but I can't remember the name

Thanks, tried them last night and I was impressed. Their donair pizza is better and doesn't sit as heavy as Seniores does. I didn't feel like a total bag of crap after eating a few slices
I must have caught Savona's on an off night as I didn't like the pizza I got from there.
Did the MGP from Bow Tie last night and it was fabulous. Toppings for days!!! They really load the pizza up. Sauce was really good, had some nice zip to it. Really enjoyed the crust too, more bread than most pizzas without being doughy. I thought the cook on it was perfect, considering the absolute mass of the pizza, the box was heavy!!
Top to bottom a really solid pie. Will definitely be back.

It's that after feeling that Seniores gives you, that makes me not really like them much.
Most overrated pizza in the city. There I said it.

Finally tried Crispy Crust last night. Big thumbs up, loved the crunchy edges and their sauce. Only down side I had was my usual two slices left me feeling way too full. They really piled the toppings on. Definitely a one-slicer with lots left over for the next day. Cheese bread was a hit too. My wife, who's sense of taste is just coming back after COVID, could taste the garlic on it so that's a good sign.
Oh how I wish I could be a "one or two slicer" with any pizza. I always admire these guys when a bunch of people are eating. Big or small, there's at least two slices downed before I even feel like I'm starting to eat.
we tried Bravo Pizza the other night, and honestly, I wasn't to impressed. $26 for a 14" hawaiian seems a bit steep. The crust was a bit too bready and while the cheese and toppings were plentiful, the crust got a bit soggy and the pizza was a bit bland.
i would say bowtie pizza is much better at a similar price point.
