I think Jesus Lord, Off the Grid, Come to Life, Moon and Believe What I Say are great, but my goodness is this thing bloated. Cut this thing down to 10 songs and there's a very good album in there, but in its current state it's just too long and nowhere near good enough to justify the run time.
Agreed. It's basically just an encapsulation of Kanye right now. A lot of bluster, moments of genius, but mostly scattered with a lack of cohesion.
I've been making a playlist of 90s posse cuts, anyone have any suggestions?
One of my favourites! 1993
Sorry for the spam but here's a bunch others. First one from JMT is 2000 but the rest are 90's. Vinnie Paz in the 90's/early 2000's was so freaking good.

Yeah. If he cut it down to like the best 12-15 tracks and that’s a very good album.
After many years away I have been brought back into listening to some hip hop by NF and Harry Mack. Any suggestions for anyone else in a similar vein (but I dont do N-bombs, if the artist uses the N-word, Im already out).
I missed out on the newest Yelawolf album from earlier in the year. I've mostly been a fan of his rapping style but primarily the producers he works with have some really good production values and a lot of it sounds great on headphones.
JPEGMAFIA just put out a new album. He's one of my favorite artist today. He makes experimental/alternative hip hop with a lot of personality
I'm a bit late to this album, but my goodness is Hazard Duty Pay! one of the most jaw dropping songs I have heard in a long time. Easily the song of the year, and probably the song decade so far, just spectacular.

Forget about Kanye unless it's that Netflix doc that just came out. It's really good and focuses on him trying to get signed and release College Dropout.
As for music, check out the new Currensy and Alchemist album "Continuance" instead.
Is anybody watching "Wu-Tang:An American Saga" on Disney+? I'm about 5 episodes in and it's pretty good so far. The actor that plays ODB really nails his character.
