Whoops wrong thread.
Oregon isn’t doing great here. Hopefully they can beat OSU and face usc.

That fourth and one stop was huge as they scored the other way, got the ball in second half and scored again. USC is definitely bearable so a new years bowl I think is reasonable.

USC could lose tonight. LSU has to play Georgia next week. TCU might not make it even if they win out.
I sure hope Alabama doesn’t make it. I don’t want to watch them again.

What a collapse by the Ducks.
If USC wins big tonight, do you put them ahead of LSU and Ohio State?

SEC bias is basically Alabama's hope, but even then that would be asking for mega controversy. If they get losses from Michigan, USC, TCU and LSU, then it becomes much more realistic.

Wisconsin got in position to score a game-trying touchdown and promptly every player on the field started acting like they have never played football before
Four penalties on Wisconsin's offense line push the Badgers back from a goal-to-go at the 5 to the 30.

I don't think you can keep an undefeated team TCU out of the playoff.

Of course they can keep an undefeated TCU team out. And if Georgia losses to LSU and USC wins out, I expect the four will be Michigan, Georgia, LSU and USC.

Anything is possible with the committee but in my mind there’s no way TCU is left out in this scenario. More likely is LSU is on the outside looking in. Unless Michigan loses next week in which case I have no idea.
But a more likely scenario is one of TCU, LSU, or USC loses and things will probably work themselves out.

The only scenario an SEC champion is left out of the playoff is a three loss champion. LSU is 100% in if they win the SEC. And Georgia last year is proof a one loss SEC runner up isn't being left out either. Undefeated Michigan isn't being left out. So it'll come down to USC and TCU, and we've already seen in the past a higher ranked TCU being left out for a big name program, and USC will have a stronger resume. Big 12 is just too weak, if Oklahoma and Texas weren't disasters this year it might be different.

Epic special teams choke job by Oregon there. I don’t think they could beat a top ten team anyway right now.

LSU making their playoff discussion a moot point, although they were always gonna be a long shot to beat Georgia.

So if Georgia loses to 3 loss LSU do you kick them out of the playoff? Bad loss + not a conference champ

Only if they get their asses kicked. At this point Georgia is pretty much a lock. Michigan too probably.

Jayden Daniels is limping off the field slowly. Already hurt once. Likely not to return I'm guessing?
Scumbag ###### loser from LA may be as be in the playoff if they win tonight.

Honestly pretty surprised as a Michigan fan; McCarthy struggled with the deep ball all year long, so hitting on 3 bombs was stunning.
OSU kept playing cover zero and daring Michigan to throw...so they did.
USC and Michigan still need to win their respective championships and they are both in. TCU wins and they are in - the committee has to give it to an unbeaten P5 team even if someone other than Georgia wins the SEC championship.
if any of those teams lose their conference championship game, things could get interesting

Imo Georgia, Michigan, TCU and USC should get in, assuming they’re all conference champs.
Bama lost to two teams who each have some ugly losses on their record. I don’t see how they get in without help.
But if TCU and USC lose, ya, it’s wide open. Bama is back in. Hell, OSU could see themselves with a chance again.
I don’t see any scenario where Michigan or Georgia don’t win but you never know.

Reason: Clemson lost, they’re out.
