Not sure if Nate Beaulieu’s strategy of “firing up the boys” by getting pummelled by Looch one second into the game was a sound one.

Great series. Very impressed specifically by Backlund, Bennett, Lucic, and Talbot.

What cry babies

Hopefully somebody asks about it in the scrum. It’s playoff hockey, you Gm finish your checks. Lucic could have ended Beaulieu but held off.

Intentionally? It was a bit of a different handshake line then a playoff series, even though they did a handshake and the coaches shook hands.

Low class by Maurice. He gets a pass in the media because he is open with them, but lost a bit of respect for him this series. Firing up your team by accusing Tkachuk as he did, but combined with this, maybe he is a big baby.

I don't remember Brodie making a bad play all series. Wasn't flashy, just played simple and smart hockey.

Lowry blaming bad bounces on the series loss, which saw a 16-6 goal discrepancy.

There was a lot of surprising, great performances by Flames players this past week, but I learned something really unexpected: Michael Backlund is STRONG! He is a frikkin' tank, that I never knew existed under that boyish Swedish demeanour.

Anyone else think Ehlers is total coward?

Went at Chucky's knees.

Went at Johnny away from the play when the series was already decided?

I'm looking forward to him paying for that next season.

That cannot be right. He has coached two teams to theConference Finals, and has coaches in the SCF.

I would go Andersson-Brodie-Hanifin.

I never even really noticed Hanifin, and now that I think about it that’s a great thing. That second pairing was amazing.

So glad Kadri nixed that trade.
