I just recently bought myself a PAM 125.
If you've got a Daytona and the 125, you're not doing too badly for yourself. If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy the Panerai? There isn't an AD in Calgary is there?

I went to a Federal Auction once (and they still have my address, so I get a letter every time thaty come to town) and they had a number of nice looking watches. I didn't know if they were any good, so I didn't buy any, but I always wondered if they would have been a good deal?

I'm not doing too bad. The oil and gas industry has been good to me, but I wouldn't normally go out and get myself a multi-thousand dollar watch. The Daytona was a gift from my uncle, and my uncle's a huge watch enthusiast. He's got me hooked after seeing some of his collections. I decided I'll start small and get a pam 125. I love opening the caseback showcasing the 21 jewel movement. An engineering marvel really.

I bought the Panerai off a friend who owns a jewelry store in New York. The price he gave me was more than fair. I looked hard in Calgary, but I wasn't successful in finding pams anywhere. Lots of rolex dealers though.

I'm also a Fossil guy,
I've currenlty got three but I wear one of them 90% of the time.
Bang for your buck you can't go wrong with a good fossil watch.
This is the one I wear 90% of the time, the other one is blue, and the third has LED flames that are pretty sweet for a flames fan but not so appropriate for work (Gotta look professional afterall).

I don't wear a watch. I break them to easily. I always have my IPOD with me, and that has the time so I am generally OK.

However, I do like the watch that you currently own!

hulkrogan's is pretty neat as well.

I do too. I've had that thing for the past 4 years. Best 60 bucks I've ever spent.

But for those Panerai lovers. I've spotted some being sold in Calgary at Jewels by Maxime.

I'm not really a huge watch guy. As long as the time it gives me is correct, that's the main thing. I'd probably still be wearing the Ironman watch I got in high school 20 years ago if I wasn't given a Fossil watch as a gift a couple of years back.

I have an AWESOME Timex Flames watch but I can't find a picture of it anywhere. All stainless with a cool backlit indiglo display. Ghosted Flames logo on the face. Its really sweet.

Every long weekend there is a company that holds a jewellery auction in town ( I think they're called Federal Auctions). They usually have a few high end watches. I've never gotten anything, the bidding goes past what I would pay pretty quickly.

But they usually have a bunch of Rolex, some Patek Phillipe, and Breitling. The one watch I really liked was a Breitling that had the day of the week near the top of the face, but biddign jumpend on it, and later I discovered they no longer make that model (I can't even recall the name right now).

Edit: It is the Headwind

It's not at all in the same league as some of the ones being discussed on here, but I've got this one from Citizen. I like it.

I've had this one for over a year now. For some reason I really like these "cuff" watches. It's the Guess Mens Buckle. Looks good with any condition. It's not in the pricey side like most of the watches above though.

That's why I look at those auctions; I'm hoping to get a bargain.

No luck so far, but maybe I should look elsewhere. the last auction I was at, a guy dropped over $200K on assorted things.

I'm trying hard to land a Breitling chrono avenger right now. Yeah, they're huge...I think like 47mm for the case, but they make a good collectors watch.

I'm a huge collector of watches. As you can see on the left, I have a panerai arktos mike horn edition, so watches have always been my passion. I used to own Quartz movement watches, but now only have automatics or manual winding watches.

Recently bought my girl a LV Tambour GMT automatic with Stainless Steel band. It's actually a man's watch, but since it's 37mm casing, I figured a woman can wear it. I was right, she loves it.
