Yes, I believe they could have a chance. When you have the best player in world, in addition to one who is the third or fourth best, a chance always exists.
Furthermore, if Kane and Hyman continue their play, anything is possible.
Sure, both the D and Smith are suspect, but they have been playing well.

With the league mandate when it comes to McDavid, absolutely. I expect lots of chincy penalty calls against any team the Oilers play.

Now, I don’t think they will. But they can. They play the games for a reason.

Good god, steamrolled? Flames won 2 games if the league maintains the status quo on a puck being kicked in and the Oilers won 3.

They definitely have a good chance against any of NYR/Carolina/St Louis. The only teams I expect that can really take them out are the Bolts and Avs.
AND THE AVS ARE GOING TO TAKE IT!

I sure as heck hope not. But, given how the NHL seems to be behind the Oilers, I won't hold my breath until the final whistle

I sure hope they don’t. But with how McDavid, Draisaitl, Kane and Hyman have been rolling it wouldn’t shock me to see them upset the Avs. But we’ll see

They have? They allowed 21 goals to the Flames in 5 games
Oilers are about to get an ass kicking

We are so shell shocked as a fan base I can see how some can see the Oilers winning it all.
They barely beat LA.
The record breaking fall off from Markstrom
We have a first line known not to close when it matters
They had favorable officiating
Mike Smith while serviceable had a bunch of gaffes. Was not rock solid and hasn’t been.
Their more horseshoe than reality right now. Maybe that continues but they’ll need all of the above to break again their way to win.
Odds are low but hey I had Flames in 5 what do I know anyways

I wonder how much of this production was the Flames themselves committing errors. Shaky goaltending and giving up too many odd man rushes. Some rushes are earned, but a bunch in game 3 were gifted.
As much as we've seen Connor be a force in the playoffs this year (he was almost impossible to hit off the puck), I've seen similar beast mode moments from MacKinnon, even more so with the strength and drive. After the top players on each team, I think the Avs have a more consistent bunch together.
Oil - Draisaitl....Nuge/Hyman/Kane
Avs - Rantanen/Landeskog/Kadri/Makar
Oilers fans will argue the best two players in the series are McDavid and Draisaitl. But it's actually McDavid and MacKinnon. Drai is third for sure.

All three teams in the final four right now have a #1 overall pick in the lineup and other very high picks. This is what the Flames are up against.

And some have more than one. I mean one of the teams literally wiped their butts with #1 picks and threw half of them away.
