Tanev in makes a huge difference. Oilers are not nearly as physical as the stars either (heck, they barely bumped LA along the boards in their end in at least a couple of the games).
Even if Stone has to eat some of his minutes I'm elated with him just being in and practicing.

Let him recover until Friday. Remind Ritchie that the NHL is running a promotion with heavily discounted rates on headbutts.

Who is Donna Spencer? Does she know the first thing about hockey practice? Almost useless information she provided.

Good to see Tanev practicing. If he plays on Wednesday flames will most likely have to go 11-7 .

Not sure if anyone else mentioned it but it looked like Tanev got a stick or two smashed into his trachea when he was down on the ice behind the net.

Probably resting him. I'm doubtful they leave him out of the lineup for game 1.

If Tanev isn't 100%, they shouldn't rush him back for BoA Game 1...let him rest. The Flames can beat the Oilers without Tanev, but they cannot beat the Avs without him.

The 2nd round is where Col's mental block resides.
I think the Blues have a good chance of beating them.

I can already hear the excuses that they would have beat us with a healthy Draisaitl.

Nobody is going to be 100% at this time of year, but your point stands and I agree. If taking a couple extra days will make him that much closer to 100% it might be the right call.
With that said, I really really want to see Tanev back on the ice playing games. He is a big part of the team. Hopefully he is close enough to fully healthy to play, and hopefully doesn’t aggravate the injury and make it worse.

sign idea based off visa
Flights= $500
tickets to game 1= $300
beer = $50
Oilers still paying Lucic $750,000 = PRICELESS
E=NG
We're sitting in PL so cant do it.

If you are talking about game 5, I think most saw it as someone jumping on his back, and I also remember a stick crushing his neck in the same sequence.But I haven't watched a replay since it happened.

Can you imagine the Oilers salt if Lucic has a big game or scores the series winning goal?

Since we are all speculating...
What does everyone think Xylington's shoulder injury was about?
He came back pretty quick after heading to the room even though he looked like he was going through labour pains on the bench.

I think it shows he's ####ing tough.
There's more than one kind of toughness.
