Blues are looking impressive, but it will be hard for them to overcome the loss of their top d-man in a long series. Avs in 7.

This series might go 8 games with Avs prevailing in triple OT in game 7.

Blues were scorching hot down the stretch and I think the Avs curse continues here with a Blues win in 6. Could easily be wrong but St. Louis is a sneaky scary team not far removed from a cup win.

I think this one comes down to what type of goaltending the Blues get. The two teams only played one time since the third week of the season. So despite being in the same Division they have not played each other much. Last year the Av's man handled the Blues pretty easily. But a lot of guys on the Blues were If the Blues get really good goaltending, they'll be in this one and have a chance. Less than that and they could be done in 5. The longer this series goes, the more it favors the Blues who won't be relying on a group of 7 guys to carry the mail.

Wonder how rusty the Avs are after the layoff. Wouldn’t be surprised at a game one loss.

Crazy how many people here think this series will be close. Betting odds have Colorado as 75-80% to advance, with Colorado winning in 5 being the likeliest outcome.

Blues are the best team that nobody talks about. Near the top of the league in regulation wins. Their youth has arrived maybe a season earlier than expected, while still possessing the core players from the cup year. They dispatched a really good MIN team in 6 games and Binnington seems to have taken back the net.

I say they catch Colorado unprepared in the first half of the series. Fat dumb and happy after sweeping Nashville. They lead the series 3-1.

But Colorado wakes up and wins 3 close games in a row to take it in 7. But the series extracts a heavy toll with a Kadri suspension and a suspected McKinnon injury that he tries to play through.

The Blues have a great team with not a lot of expectations on them. That's a dangerous combination. The pressure is all on Colorado. Binnington seems to be back in form, and the last time that happened the Blues won a cup.

I wanna say that Colorado will win this because they're are the better team, and have proved that during the regular season and the first round against Nashville, but St. Louis seems very dangerous to me. They have the experience of winning it all and they brushed off a very good Minnesota team kindly convincingly. This will be a hard-fought series and I think it will go the distance. Feels like a coin-flip, but I'll say Colorado wins it in the end.

Blues in 7 is best case scenario as a Flames fan. Long draining series and then the Flames would get home ice in the West final if they were to advance.

The Avs absolutely spanked the Blues last playoffs. It will be interesting to see if they repeat. Avs in 6
