Do fiberglass filters work just as well as those then? And how often should I change out fiberglass filters? (now that I'm going to start using them)
Thanks!

Hi....fiberglass filters work best. Thicker and higher merv rated filters , 3m filters , Kirkland filters , woven and pleated filters damage ALL thr temperature sensitive components on furnaces over time causing expensive repairs .
Now....thr common argument is fiberglass won't filter the same as the others . Yes that's true but IF your vents and ducts and furnace have never been cleaned, inspected, tuned up and performance evaluated then you have bigger problems.
Vents and ducts should be cleaned every 2 years for maximum efficiency, lower utility bills and better mental health.
If you need proper service let's set something up appointment wise.
