Safe to say they are post-apex. 35, 30 and 32.

Nice looking 94 yard TD drive orchestrated by Cozart.

Yup; definitely overpaid and post apex.
One thing Huff is a master at is cutting guys loose right after they peak; then they go to the riders.
Charleston had a good year last year, and sat on his couch and watched Calgary win another Grey cup

I understand that...but for one year?
Johnson was a beast last year, Hughes led the league in sacks IIRC and Eleminian is one of the best....but as i said depending on health.

Nice to see special teams plays from the Stamps 2019 draft picks Fraser Sopik from Western and former Calgary Dino Nick Statz.

I havent noticed but folks are having fun on twitter with the Stamps choice, or lack there of...of socks.
Its been noticed that there are red, white, black and even short socks being worn.
Austin tweeted...

This is actually nuts. Did the Stamps just forget to order socks?

That would be hilarious if true.

Have the Stamps turned the ball over tonight? I don't think they have which is incredible for a pre-season game.

A number of interesting performances on both sides of the ball. DD is going to have some tough decisions to make at a number of positions. It looks like Huff might have been able to bring in a few more gems with the latest crop of import signings too.

On TV they showed it at Riders 6 - Stamps 0 for turnovers, late in the game, and there were no turnovers after that.

Sounds like the injury to Orimalade isnt as bad as first feared. DD says its a quad injury...i thought for sure his knee was a pretzel.
Quads can take a while but it wont be season ending.
Big big relief as he was gonna be the starting left end.
Guys that stood out for me
Nate Holley was really good. Gump Hayes was...well...Gump. Griff Whalen is going to be a good one. Arbuckle looks oodles better.
The Oline I reserve judgement on as they faced the B team in this one.
At receiver its pretty clear they will be OK.
Rogers, Begelton, Ambles, Whalen, Brescacin, Sindani, Lynch.......yeah.
See what things look like next week against the Lions A squad.

Some tough decision to make in terms of running back and receivers, there's a lot of talent and speed.
I liked Arbuckles game tonight, and I liked Cozarts escapability and he made some throws that should have been caught
Tough to judge the defense tonight, because the Riders didn't have a lot of offensive talent on the field. But when the defense outscores the other teams offense its a good thing I liked the speed and angles of the defense tonight. But it will be interesting to see how they fair against the Lions
Filofal or whatever their QB's name is made some nice plays on the run, but if he's their back up they'd better hope that Zach Attack doesn't go down, and the Rider's backup tonight, Watford I think who has been with the Riders for a couple of years is pretty terrible.
Its never a bad night when you smash the Riders in the teeth.
