When we won in 89 I spent a (now almost immemorial) night on Electric avenue. My stripper "girlfriend" was up north at the time. Woke up "somewhere" with "someone" and we went out and did the whole "victory parade/kiss the cup" thing a few days later. Beaucoup de Alcohol later?
Met a really cute blonde down there and ditched the other chick.
A week later "Tracy" came back and I played the game until she went back out of town.
Been there, Done that.
Yes. I was so politically incorrect.
Time marches on however.
LOL.
Mine is a name I generated from a random name generator when making my world of warcraft character back in 2007ish. It has apparently been a unique name as it has been available on every game/website that I have signed up with since, so I kept it.
I wanted the username Kent Nilsson but that one was already taken so I picked the name Dion. No particular reason for Dion other than I needed a username. Should have gone like bc-chris and used my real name alberta-chris.
I think the last time we did this thread you said you were CasualUser and got banned, and then changed your posting style?
15 years on I don't know why I picked this username. Was it like a nick in something? Why did I spell it that way? Was the hyphen supposed to be a nick?
I think I tried 3 or 4 usernames I thought were clever and they were all taken. I was super into the band Electric 6 and was campaigning for the song “Danger, High Voltage” to be the Flames new goal song. The first line of the song is “Fire in the disco, fire in the Taco Bell!” So I decided to go with that
Back in junior high people at my school would shorten the word "casual" to just the first syllable. Junior high me thought I was just so casual, so much so that I should be Mr. Casual. Problem is, when you just write out the first syllable your get "cas" which is not at all how you pronounce it. No issue for Mr. Casual, I'll just spell it phonetically, "kajz". An thus, Mr. Kajz was born.
Sadly, I signed up for a few long lasting websites with this user name (CP, PSN, etc.) and now I pretty much have to live with this terrible user name for life. I continue to use it for new user names despite how stupid it is because it's always available and there is at least consistency from site to site.

My username is actually named after a very popular and iconic comic book movie that came out in 2011 starring Tim Robbins, Taika Waittit and Melanie Herbert.
It was a polarizing example of how bad acting, horrible special effects and a super boring villain can completely ruin and tank what is otherwise a great fictional character.
