It's pretty hard to cheer against either of these teams after the character each group has shown in this series.

Leafs going full Oilers by putting Tavares/Matthews/Marner on one line and moving Nylander to C.
It cost them a too many men already but that trio was all over the BJ's at times.
Interesting strategy by Keefe.

I find it's hardest for me to cheer for Columbus. Even though I like the way they've played, there's just something so unlikable about their stars and stripes, revolutionary identity that I can't feel like I want to see more of them.
I guess in a way this game is like watching Fake Team America vs. Fake Team Canada.

That has nothing to do with the team though. Toronto as an organization isn't as offensive as one like the Oilers or Ducks. It's just the fans and media coverage that suck.

You know why Toronto lost this series?
Marner and Matthews have no heart. The way they gave up on the play in the offensive zone and then were slow to change - they did nothing to set up the next shift. It was a gutless, lazy end to a shift in the final 8 minutes of your season.
That was pathetic.
