What a send off for Sinclair. Could not be happier for her or this program. I don't think i've cared about a game as much for this one as I did for 2010 hockey. Just amazing as the women continue to raise the flag for Canada.

That penalty shootout will go down in the history books as one of the greatest/most dramatic ever.
Stephanie Labbé. Jessie Fleming.

would have been more storybook if Sinclair had taken that last kick, but yes, no one will care at this point

Canada has officially matched their 2016 Summer Olympics medal haul, but have made massive improvements on Gold (6 vs 4) & Silver (6 vs 3).
Amazing showing at these Olympics and a good chance to reach 23 medals, which would be a Canadian record (minus 1984 Los Angeles)

And Quinn is now officially the first openly trans and non-binary athlete to win an Olympic medal

Don’t know why Fleming was sweating so much with the ice she has in her veins.

The best part to all of this is that Canada did not do it easy. They beat 3 teams ahead of them in the world rankings to win this gold and did what they had to do. Slaying the US dragon was the ultimate to it all
