Man, they really messed up by not making the Uncharted movie 10 years ago and casting Nathan Fillion. I bet that fan movie he made will be way better than this just because of the charisma he put into playing Drake.
That said I do hope the movie is fun. I love the games so much

Sony's mistake was saying "We believe in generations" because that was never going to be the case with as large of an install base as the PS4 has, and with system shortages for this gen (although the COVID supply chain impact here is probably a reason things are staying cross-gen that shouldn't be overlooked).
I still find it so odd how hard it is to come by a PS5 these days. I always wait about a year (or 2) post-launch to get next gen, but given the scarcity - and thus the very inflated price - of a PS5 currently, I probably won't be getting one over the Christmas/Boxing Day season as originally planned. Besides, as mentioned with most games still being cross-gen, there isn't much of a point in upgrading now anyway.

IF you can get one its still a MASSIVE upgrade. Most PS4 games play and look far better plus loading times. Any there are a handful of high quality PS5 exclusive games to play.

I am a big Marvel fan so interested if anyone has picked up Guardians of the Galaxy yet? The fact Avengers was a huge let down and that GoG is a single player campaign I am going to wait until this game goes on sale before I buy but it is getting some solid reviews.
Built my first PC last year for music production, since I'm not really into TV or movies decided to get back into a little gaming. Anyone play Zero Hour? Fun little tactical shooter from a small Bangladesh developer which reminds me of the old Ghost Recon games. Too old and too little time to be any good as fast paced fps on keyboard and mouse, this is a nice game for planning and going slow. ARMA is great but so deep Ill never be able to put the time in to become proficient.
Also, anyone into MX Simulator, the motocross version of QWOP? Awesome game.

Really depends on what you already have. I upgraded my PS4 HD to an SSD and I still haven't upgraded to a 4K TV. Hard to see a PS5 providing a massive boost to my experience there.

double frame rates in many cases...plus an SSD in a PS4 is a slight upgrade...PS5 hard drive is a whole other level.
Trust me, I had done the same thing to my PS4 pro. PS4 isn't setup to take full advantage of an SSD.

Sounds like lots of people really enjoying it...but also feel like it's likely to drop to $60 for Black Friday.
Really intrigued about Riders Republic too..
Overall a bit of a crazy week from a new release perspective.
