Mayer will almost surely pass Lapage in the last 2 events; there's just too much difference in their PBs for Javelin and 1500M. If Lapage is going to get a medal he likely needs to gain 100 points on Moloney, which might be tough.

It's the skateboarders who can pass a drug test.

If they both compete somewhere around their PBs in the final 2 events, looks like Mayer should close the gap on Warner by about 140pts- not nearly enough. But Mayer has a good shot at sneaking into silver. Doesn’t seem like anyone is considering Moloney a huge threat to Warner as he is not that strong in the final two.

Quan Hongchan is ridiculous. Scored 10s across the board on 2/4 dives so far and 14 years old.

It's part of the Track and Field Day 13 Session 2 stream which has been switching back and forth between women's pole vaulting and javelin throws by decathlon contenders.

Warner with a good javelin toss. Can't wait for the 1500M to see him bring this baby home.

Moloney taking bronze is Australia's first ever decathlon medal. So they are celebrating too.
