Behind the Scenes with the Calgary Flames at the NHL Draft - Ryan Pike
Figured this was the best place to put this.
One of my oldest friends, and resident insider/reporter, Ryan Pike, had his book released today. I just got it in the mail, and am eager to read.
I've always been in awe of Ryan's sports knowledge, even as we were 9-10 year old riding the bus home, watching WWF or going to hockey practice or games together. I have no doubt in my mind this book will show everybody else what I already knew back then.
Support him by buying on Amazon!

Congratulations old friend. I'm very proud of you!

Looking forward to reading it. Pike seems to have a knack for getting really hard to find stats and facts. I bet there are a few interesting revelations in this book.

Proud of ya, Pike. Great resource to have for all things Flames. Hope I can load it onto my Kobo somehow.

Pike is good people.
Some kinda Flames insider with his patent-pending Pike Perspective. So often goes behind the surface to uncover gems of stories, facts, and stats.
Another proud friend - best of luck with this release - book releases are stressful - support and help Ry out!

It's hard to believe it was 20 damn years ago I was signing up on this forum as a fresh-faced youngster. Really appreciate all the kind words and support from all y'all both now and over the years. It means a lot.

I was going to say, I'm not sure a 32 year old would reference the world wildlife federation as part of sports lore, that's gotta be reserved for the 35+ crowd by now.
