Glad it's done. Really like it.
I feel like the first 3 years probably swing in the Flames favour, last 3 probably not as much. But if our best window to compete is the next 3 years, then that's really a moot point.
Congrats BT and Backlund, it's a win-win.

Not to thrilled about the term, Takes him to 35 I think? Was hoping for more like 4 years But it's probably what kept the price under 6 mil. One of the best two way centers in the league. Glad to have him locked up for the window.

The the best deal in the world (would have preferred 5 even for 6 years and wish it was only 4 years in total), but not the worst thing to happen to the Flames. Our centre depth stays solid, and I think this pretty much guarantees he's not dealt any time soon.
