There was a solid 10 to 15 minutes about how he's prepared his kids for the "white man" then his special went into hot takes about how we need bullying. I laughed a little after that about a joke I cant remember now.
Yes I watched it and kinda wondering if you did now
White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard to Talk to White People About Racism
Comedy is one of the best ways to get people thinking about touchy subjects because it uses irony, hyperbole and cleverness to disarm knee-jerk defensive reactions when talking about things like racism.
Guys like Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle don't hate white people. They hate white supremacy. They hate the system that keeps it invisible.

Yeah, I've laughed at jokes about white people before. If it's funny. But because I don't think his last special is funny I'm fragile?

I think saying there a system that keeps it invisible is ridiculous. If it’s used as a medium for touchy subjects then that ability should be there for all comics regardless of sex, race, size, orientation or beliefs but it’s not, it’s really not.
You guys realize that talking to icecube about this is more or less exactly like inviting a Jehova's witness into your living room to talk about how you were created through Christ? I mean, if that sounds like a good time for you, have fun, but I was actually hoping to find out what was coming out on Netflix, so...

You have your own biases logic boy. You're not as non partisan straight down the middle as you like to think you are. You sure do a lot of defending and deflecting of topics that touch on systemic racism though.

Mute was released today. It's getting panned by critics and, after watching it, it's pretty deserved. It felt like two movies and the story was all over the place. Paul Rudd was the shining star in it and at times I thought was the lead. 5/10 probably.
I am looking forward to the second half of Lemony Snicker’s Series of Unfortunate Events coming out next month. I know some people disliked it, but I thought I was great.
I've been a big fan of Derren Brown's shows for years. His latest one The Push is on Netflix now. He creates a large social experiment to see if he can manipulate someone into committing murder. Not gonna say too much else about it except to go watch it. It's really really good.

Just watched the Black Mirror season 4 episode Crocodile. It's the first real stinker in the four seasons of the show. The kind of stinker where you wonder why nobody brought up all the face-palm plot ploints and terrible choices when they first saw the script. I hope Charlie Brooker hasn't reached the stature where nobody has the guts to tell him when he's screwing up.
