Had to sim earlier than anticipated, or skip altogether, chose the former

Sharks with 7 of a possible 8 points in the last 4 games! Run and gun style play, wide open hockey!

Balanced scoring is nice to see.

Devils are 8-2 since shaking up the roster, more trades to come if the GM can find decent cell reception in Thailand.

A couple of months ago I had a very important decision to make. I made a trade and was given my choice of 2018 1st in the deal: Devils or Jackets.

I took the Jackets even though they were doing better for a couple of reasons:

1. 3thirty has always been competitive (but was NOT happy when he decided to start selling)

2. inufie has limited patience, I had a feeling he would sell off at some point and I knew I had him by his big balls with that Top 10 1st condition (that ended up getting me Crosby and ultimately starting the fire sale)

3. We know the sim is dumb and sometimes when you do a firesale, you actually get better (worked for NJ = good. Did not work for the Sharks = bad. We’ll find out for Jackets = unknown).

4. NJ should stop trading.
