IMO it's a good way to see where GM's heads are at in terms of whether they're buyers or sellers, like most real life GM's know about their fellow GM's

Wasn't sure what kind of team I would have at the start of the season and had multiple discussions with GMs about blowing up the team if it didn't produce.

The Hawks have made a couple deals already this season (Bouwmeester, Dubinsky) to strengthen the line-up, but will continue to look to improve the team as we inch towards a playoff spot.

Of course, losing a couple in a row will likely result in additional pressure to mix up the team and right the ship.

On the cusp of playoffs with 3 games in hand will stand pat and see closer to deadline what to do. Oshie is looking like a very decent rental for a contender.
