Default What do you eat for breakfast every morning?

I've never really been a breakfast guy. Currently it's just black coffee during the weekday morning and eggs on the weekends. The odd time I might make myself some French toast on the weekends as well.

Bowl of cereal and either a fruit smoothie or coffee smoothie. I’m a creature of habit.

Yogurt and museli/granola during the week. Throw some fruit in if there is some around. Occasionally treat myself to a Montreal Bagel and cream cheese. And of course coffee, coffee, coffee.

I'm with this, but Tahini? Never tried that in there, and I'm sitting here debating whether I'd want to!

Usually a half cup of oats, tablespoon of chia seeds and hemp hearts. Then add an equal amount of milk, oat milk, almond milk or whatever you prefer. I usually add some honey or maple syrup and maybe vanilla. Leave over night in the fridge then add some fruit in the morning if you want.

Great little breakfast.

Usually eggs and whole grain toast and if I can some kind of fruit.

Sometimes a slice of bacon chopped into the pan before the eggs, sometimes a bunch of veggies, try to mix it up.

Every once in a while I'll make my own version of Denny's Moons Over My Hammy.

I have been meaning to order and try the Magic Spoon cereal (https://magicspoon.com/), but it's just so expensive. But might be nice for those times when I really crave cereal.

I used to almost never have breakfast, but having breakfast (and making sure there was enough fibre) has been really helpful in controlling appetite for me for the rest of the day.

Also been trying to find a toast spread that has little or no sugar but still gives that jam taste.

Man, all the power to you. I understand this is an Australian staple, but I cannot do it and can't understand how it ever became a food. And I can eat anything.

Coffee, but I generally eat my lunch around 11 to answer the original question.

I hold off on breakfast until about 10:30-11 and then I'll usually make a sandwich, sometimes an egg sandwich, sometimes some sliced turkey, sometimes peanut butter.

On the weekends, I'm usually out and about so will skip eating altogether until lunch time. At which point I'll pick up something - usually coffee and a sandwich/bagel/wrap.

I eat basically the same thing but it takes me 6 minutes to make in the morning.

Black coffee typically. I don't like eating in the morning, it usually makes me feel sick when I do. Even as a kid, I never wanted to eat in the morning.

First breakfast (7am): Two pieces of multigrain toast.

Second breakfast (10 am): Granola with banana, blueberries, and almond milk.

Always found the idea of breakfast interesting. I think it should be tied to the idea of what you are doing right after breakfast. If you work a physical job where you need calories, then eating breakfast is probably a good idea. But if you sit at a desk with minimal physical exertion, is it really beneficial to eat breakfast? Or eat anything till a few hours into the work day?

I think there is enough scientific data to show that there is a benefit to taking more time between meals. Eat supper at 7PM, not eat anything till 10-12AM. So always found it interesting that our society has somehow gotten this idea that you HAVE to eat as soon as you get up in the morning.

I was first introduced to this while in holiday in Greece. Which incidentally, is where I am now. It really works.
