Brady should have made that, overcooked it.

Does this go tomorrow too, or was it a one day event? I could have swore it was next weekend so I didn't check anything today.

I would suspect that will be the consensus from the media. Has been enjoyable and night and day from Match 1 and the crappy thing last weekend.

I think Phil and Brady will tie this up. Great match up.

Agreed, PGA Tour needs to get with the times and allow it.

Anyone else excited to watch the first PGA event since the shutdown? It's looking like a really strong field. Starts this coming Thursday. Almost feels surreal.

The Charles Schwab Challenge, the first event in the restart of the 2019-20 PGA TOUR season, will welcome a stellar field. The tournament has announced that the top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking are scheduled to appear at Colonial – the first time that’s happened at the Fort Worth, Texas, event since 1986.

Quote:
Thomas and McIlroy are among the top nine players in the FedExCup standings -- led by Sungjae Im -- who have committed to play. Of the top 20 in the standings, 17 will be at Colonial, including defending champ Kevin Na, who is 11th.

Nice, the Memorial in about a month will be the first tournament to feature fans (barring a second wave changing restrictions), as Ohio has allowed it in their reopening plans for that time.

Quote:
The Memorial Tournament Presented by Nationwide will include on-site patrons after state government approval of a comprehensive safety plan for the July 13-19 event.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Friday his state would allow the reopening of casinos, racinos, amusement parks, water parks and outdoor theatres in two weeks’ time and that the Memorial Tournament’s safety plan was set for approval.

Anyone else watch any of this weekend? Was nice to have a sport I like back playing again. What a field, and nice finish.

Yep I watched the final round from Colonial, a tournament I most likely would have paid no attention otherwise.

It was fantastic, and didn't really notice the lack of fans.

Bring on the majors. It's a shame there will be only three this year (hopefully).

By the way, any idea if golf is paying out reduced prize money because of the lack of gate revenue?

It's probably not as huge percentage of the revenues compared to some pro sports and maybe it's more than made up for by increased TV ratings thanks to the lack of competition.

Watched quite a bit of the tournament. Strangest was the ace on Thursday. No roar, no reaction from the player as he did know it went in. The cameraman had to tell him it was a hole in one. Did not miss the idiot fans yelling “get in the hole” or “mashed potatoes”. One thing I thought would’ve been good was if the other players and caddies cheered and clapped for their playing partners.

I really liked the packed "grandstands" in the backyards around 15. Those boys were making some serious noise, lol.

It is great to see the Canadians doing well in these last two tournaments. 3 Canadians in the top 30 so far this weekend.
