Does it actually matter? More than half are French Opens. Doesn't put him on Federer's level, just further establishes that he's easily the best ever on clay, which we already knew.
Rafa can win another 3 FOs and it won't change a thing about his legacy as a player at this point. It's just running up the score.

Couldn't have asked for a better start. It's not a matter of if but when Djokovic will wake up, his first serve hasn't been great today.

How many people in the stands? Aren’t the numbers going way up in France?

I think they said they sold 1000 tickets and staff are allowed to watch.
Rafa has to keep on the gas here, Novak got bagelled in Rome last year in the finals to Nadal then went on to win the 2nd set.

Djokovic not willing to do what Diego did, and that was rally long points. Hence bagel.

Well, Hawk-Eye would have awarded Novak an ace and a game point in that last game, instead Rafa breaks and is up a break in set 2.

If Novak is gonna serve this bad and get embarrassed anyway he might as well go for nothing but first serves, even on second serves.

He needs to change the molecular structure of the water he's drinking with his emotions to give him more energy.

He needs a full crowd to hate him, although Paris is actually the only place the crowd would cheer for him over Nadal.

I think the nicest thing you can say about Nadal is he's rendered a major as relevant as a Challenger event as far as interest. You know he's gonna win, the French Open has been the most boring tournament on tour for 15 years now.
