Flames are making some good plays tonight. But it's as obvious as ever that no one not named Sharangovich can hit twine reliably.
That last Backlund shot on a great 3 on 2 passing play was just ugly lol.

How is that not called a penalty? Coronato was clearly tripped.

What are the chances a Flame could do what Hague did after a whistle and not get a penalty for it?

Huberdeau has given Kadri at least 3 great feeds that ended up wide via miss or deflection. But they should keep it up. It’s going to pay off

Obviously the rebuild could be tough at times but this is what we’ve all been asking for. Wolf in net, tons of youth throughout the lineup. We should be picking relatively high for 3 years so when those guys get inserted, players like Coronato, Pospisil, Pelletier should be hitting their primes. Tough times ahead but this is already more fun whatever we had last year
