Stars are such a weird team. Former superstars like Benn and Seguin who aren't that old but now apparently suck. And then guys I've never heard of like "Jason Robertson" and "Roope Hintz" (adult film stars?!) among the leaders in team scoring. And then randomly 37-year old Joe Pavelski is their top scorer. And then former stud Alexander Radulov getting 22 points in 71 games.

Dallas is the only team in the playoffs with a negative goal differential and have the fewest regulation wins of any playoff team.

They are the weakest of all the playoff teams IMO. If the Flames play their game they shouldn't lose to them, and if they do lose to them they should feel shame.

Rick Ball should be doing every round possible. He’s the best Sportsnet has to offer IMO. I’m actually amazed they haven’t turned him into a national guy yet.

If Luke Schenn can drop him so so can Lucic.

That was covered when they beat the Oilers 4 games to 1 in the 1991 Campbell Conference Final.

Yeah I think Cassie may be doing US TV?

Just fantastic news. Ball is top class and Millen, is enjoyable; while a bit old school, picks up things color guys should pick up, not go off on preset tangents, interject stats and force narratives like Cassie and guys like Singh do to cover up inexperience.

Millen is far from a Flames fan, but he does an adequate job as colour.

I think the Flames won him over a little bit with that Nashville game.

He probably hadn't called a game that fun packed all season, and you could hear it in his voice.

Welcome aboard the Flames playoff train Greggo.

Millen is the best colour commentary we get as Flames fans.

Damn glad to have him for the broadcasts alongside Bell!

Simpson is the best color guy but we won’t get that crew until the Leafs and Oilers are out. Millen is very good.
I assume it’s Singh and Debrusk in an automute Oilers broadcast.

Benn doesn't scare me at all, especially when we have more than a few nasty SOBs of our own. 7 games? Really? This thing will be over in 5 or less. 6 at the most.

If the Leafs get knocked out and it’s a Battle of Alberta Round 2, I gotta think Cuthbert and Simpson would get that one.

Yep. Pavelski, Robertson and Hintz are nice players but nothing that the Flames don’t have better than in their top forwards. Gurianov had a disappointing season. Radulov is a shell of his former self.

Klingberg and Heiskenan are solid but I like the Flames six way better.

Goaltending is a clear check mark for Calgary as is coaching.

I just don’t see how the Flames arent massive favourites here.

Flames in 5 is where I’m going.

Honestly I'm sheepish about making a prediction here, but if things go as expected I'm with you on yours.
