I think it depended if they committed to 2 years or just the 1.
I think it was $13 a ticket if they only signed up for this season, and obviously less if they committed for two

A little bird told me last year that there’s going to be a Black Blasty Alternate for the Wranglers this coming season.
It’s supposed to be “a bit of Flames and a bit of Wranglers”

Any Wranglers third jersey will probably follow the same template as the current home and aways, with vertical striping on the sleeves. So black, with thin red and thicker gold?

I was told it’s the jersey design of a flames jersey, but the wranglers secondary logo.
I originally made this mock up, and was told it’s not like this. (Which I think looks pretty sharp)

I made a spreadsheet to make it easier to directly compare the home/away schedules for the Flames and Wranglers.
Thanks to the Heavy Weekend Back-To-Back AHL schedules, there are actually a ton overlap when the Wranglers are in town practicing at Winsport and the Flames are on a home stand. There are also quite a few games where the Wranglers would be home with no games on the horizon and the flames leave for a Road Trip.
The “Possible” starts in the graphic below are games where it would be possible for Wolf to play, but the Wranglers road trip starts the following day.

Just in case any of you care. The Wranglers season tickets perks appear to be worse this year (despite the price increase). Comes with an AHLTV Away Games subscription instead of both home and away this year. Certainly a bummer as someone who's only in town for 18/36 this year. And no promise on a free hitmen and roughnecks ticket, just an open ended "tickets to other csec teams" statement.

It would be nice if it was a “credit” promo code where you could choose to apply it to whichever plan you wish. I would love to have the whole AHL subscription

I'll probably try and talk with AHLTV and see if I can upgrade to at least full home and away, otherwise I'm gonna end up buying it anyways...

Looking at the prices, its $105USD for the entire season and playoffs for every team. IIRC, Playoffs wasn’t include in our package last season, I think it was $30-$35USD for playoffs.
I may just pay for the full league price anyway

the Calgary Wranglers have signed defenceman Jonathan Aspirot to a standard AHL player contract.

Well, guess we know the fate of the "one true PTO at Flames Camp"

Didn’t he just get re-signed on a 2-way NHL deal? Not even an AHL contract?

Yeah. His contract is guaranteed for $300k this season. Which is pretty decent money for a 2 way.
Flames would have to put him on unconditional waivers for mutual contract termination so he can sign in Germany.

Top players in the DEL make around $300,000 so Bishop isn't coming out ahead much, unless he likes the idea of fewer games in a season.
Remember Flames FA signing Yasin Ehliz? Lasted four games in Stockton before getting bought out. Finished second in DEL scoring last season.

Two-ways info can be seen on players individual capfriendly page. ie. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/clark-bishop
Bishop's contract is worth 275k at the AHL, but with a guaranteed minimum of 300k for this year, and 325k for next year. This is fairly in line for "veteran" players on two-way contracts. With Hunt, DeSimone, Dansk and Bishop all making at least 275k, Hunt making 400k.
AHL standard player and AHL/ECHL two-way contract details are not publicly available. Teams do not have a salary cap, there is a minimum AHL salary of $52,725 USD (plus a whopping $83 travel day per diem, and additional pay for playoff games), there is no maximum salary.

Maybe it's a lifestyle thing for Bishop. Also, don't the Euro leagues provide free housing or is that a thing of the past?

I reached out to AHLTV to ask them which subscription The Wranglers set up on my account with my season tickets (as the archived game feature wasn’t working), and they said it’s actually the “All Access” which should include Other AHL teams as well.
