I believe in the Jays.

Pacific just drew against Ottawa. Great result for us.

Ottawa and Pacific have drawn so with 4 games left, Cavalry are 6 points up on Pacific, 7 points up on Forge and 10 points up on Ottawa and Halifax.
If Cavalry, York and Valour all win this weekend, I think that might clinch the title for Cavalry.

Almost. I think. In that scenario, Cavalry would have 46 points and 13 total wins (the first tiebreaker).
Pacific could then match both points and wins if they won their last 3 games and Cavalry lost their last 3. The next tiebreaker is goal difference. So in theory, Pacific could lose in your scenario this weekend and still win the title if they went on a roll and we choked.
But I’m not concerned. Cavalry are in good form and everything is within their control. Just win and then we don’t have to look at the out of town scoreboard!

It's not enough to see Cavalry win. I need to see Forge lose.

The plan for the new Wanderers grounds looks pretty awesome! 8500 seats and a really nice setup.

Getting that built would be the biggest development in the league's history, IMO. Once you start building permanent infrastructure, it means there's a good business case that the league will be around a long time.
With seemingly every stadium project in this country there is a pretty vocal opposition group to this. But that group was opposed to the temporary stadium too...
I went to Wanderers Grounds in July and it was as bare bones as you could get. Would argue even more bare bones than Clarke Stadium in Edmonton. And yet, they still get 6000 every game. So the market is there.

It would be a shame to lose the real grass, but I understand the decision. To get the community on board, it needs to be presented as a community asset. Lots of sports, concerts, and events.
Halifax continues to impress. I love the city already, and their support of the Wanderers is great to see. I hope that this project becomes reality.

How many real gross stadiums are there? Cavs, HFC, Van?

Would love to see another Atlantic team, and the start of a proper derby for the Wanderers. What city over there has a realistic chance of getting a CPL franchise in the future? I'd say it's probably St. John's or Moncton, with possibly Saint John a consideration too? St. John's would have insane travel costs attached to that location though.

Looks like another big crowd coming out Saturday. Wonder if Cavalry will top 4000 average attendance this year? 5 years ago if you had told me that would happen I wouldn't have believed you.

Everyone loves a winner, 1 home loss at home all year helps.
The facility also full marks. The way the concessions, beer lines, and bathrooms are spread across three hubs makes the in match logistics easy.
My only gripe ever is leaving the game. It is better than it was, but only because we show up early to ensure primo parking.

Good win for the Cavs today! The atmosphere seemed a little subdued today, and I'm not sure why.
