True, but Clemson is looking awfully good right now.

Don’t tell me there’s gonna be a massive delay in the Big Ten game to fix the turf?
The turf monster literally tried to eat a player... lol

Well, that was weird. Badgers only had 2 guys covering the 3 WRs on the outside and Urban Meyer called a time out. Great job helping out the Badgers Meyer.

Borderline spot on a 4th down with Barrett running for it? I've seen this movie before, Ohio State is getting that call.

Urban Meyer kicking a field goal there and I gotta be honest, I am pretty shocked by that.

Big missed call for defensive PI against ohio state. Should have offset a holding, instead wisconsin is back at almost the 50.

That's all she wrote for Wisconsin. I still don't think this was a dominant enough victory for ohio state to make it in, Clemson/Georgia/Oklahoma/Alabama is what I think the playoff will be.

Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio State.
I'm fine with Bama though. Not much between any of these teams.

I have to wonder what looks better a 59-0 blowout or a well played victory over a good looking team.
No team in the country not named Alabama even gets consideration for top 4 with Alabama's body of work. UCF has a better case even.

Well I think there is another team that would get consideration with Alabama's resume...Ohio State. Which is what makes this decision so hilarious. I actually wonder if the tiebreaker will be last year's playoff, namely that Ohio State got humiliated by Clemson and Alabama lost on the final play of the game. Both Ohio State and Alabama are worse this year than last, but I suspect the committee thinks Alabama offers a better chance to beat Clemson, plus the whole trilogy is good for TV, and Alabama gets the final spot.

Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and Ohio St. are my guesses.
The committee likes conference winners.

ESPN has a 4 hour! selection special 10am-2pm Mtn. So I'm guessing we find out at about 155pm who's in and who's out. Naturally TSN has NASCAR year in review on 4 channels.
For what it's worth Bama is 4 in the AP poll this morning.

If this group doesnt scream loud enough that the playoff system should go to 8, nothing will.
Big 10 champion out in favor of a non-conference winning club who didnt have a signature win all year.
Im an avowed Buckeye hater. HATER. No question in my mind however that they deserve to be in over Bama....and that's admitting that Bama could still be the best team in the country. They just get a different set of standards though.
Really takes away from the whole drama of the chase. Makes the regular season less meaningful too.
I do look forward to that Clemson/Bama game though, should be a beauty.

6 teams would probably be just right.

Or 3 teams this year. Give Clemson a bye and then they play the winner of OU and Georgia.

That would be pretty cool. Don't have a set number of playoff spots, and pick 2-7 teams that are worthy.
