Timeline would suggest that the alleged incident occurred before he was drafted by the Flames. Wonder how much they knew.

He certainly would have went undrafted if teams were made aware of the allegations.

Ronni should be released if he didn’t disclose it during the draft process and the flames should be under some serious scrutiny, if he did disclose it.

not even that, only three. A 2nd (Rönni), a 5th (Bell) and a 7th (Littler).
How the hell does this not come up in the pre-draft process? Seriously. He's saying this has been up in the air for two years, how come the team(s) didn't know? You'd expect they turn every stone, especially if it's your only pick in the first four freaking rounds.

C'mon man, cut them some slack... How could they know? The police aren't going to be phoning up some company on another continent to comment on possible criminal charges in a matter relating to a minor that doesn't even work for said company. The only way they could have known is if Ronni told them.
