The irony of replacing the cheerleaders with a mascot ostensibly targeted towards children is the fact that the Oilers have price families right out of Rogers Arena.

But at least it can visit the Stollery Children's hospital and give sick kids nightmares.

The cheerleaders would have achieved the same result.

Hoping to never see the Oilers' "Ocean of Ochre" playoffs crowd colour-coordination promotion.

Lost in all this Dumpster Cat glory is this gem from Ralph Krueger on the weekend:

Team Europe coach Ralph Krueger just began an answer with: "When I was fired by Edmonton (while) sitting on my daughter's bed on Skype..."

No no no. "Hey Connor, It's a Mess"

EDIT: The thread title has been updated. I'm OK with it. The 5th version of the thread though should be Hey Connor, It's a Mess though.

Just because it was the consensus number one pick, doesn't mean you shouldn't trade down for a title you actually need.

I'm cool with the title, but Episode IV needs to be in Roman numerals or it will haunt me forever.

Considering there's so much good recent material to work with, having Lowe in the headline is a bit dated.
