Doesn't look great, doesn't look bad. It will be interesting to see how it looks on a jersey.

I actually prefer something simple and understated. Too many teams have cartoon logos(including the former Mallards) or other, way out there, logos. Simplicity is the best in this case, I think.

A dragon would have been cool, though.

They had the pictures of what the jerseys will look like at the revealing. I got pics of them, but for whatever reason this site will not allow me to post attachments (can someone fix that?)

Anyway, A lot of us were right as to what logos were going to be used - the QC on the front; I was right about the Calgary logo being on the right shoulder, and there's another logo in the works for the right shoulder.

Basically, similar to the Calgary jerseys - for the white jersey, it's a red w/ yellow outline QC, for the red jersey, it's a black w/ yellow outline QC.

Upload them to photobucket and link them here. Or just email them to me and I can link them.

Not a lot of originality there. Maybe from the same guy that came up with the Flames Central logo. But yeah, time constraints may well have had something to do with that.

Good idea - thanks

Sorry the quality's pretty lousy - I used my cellphone and it was a little on the dark side.

Thanks for that...whats below the neck line...just the tie ups? Tie ups on the white...that would be new.
And whats on the bottom middle of the back of the jersey?

Also, it looks like a smaller name bar on the back...different font maybe coming?

Logical to wonder if this is a direct preview into the newly designed Calgary jersey too? If so, a bit busy along the sides and bottom.

for edge jerseys, they're not horrible. however, call me a traditionalist. maybe these new unis will have the same appeal as the composite ball had in the nba and the nhl and ahl will clamor back for the original jersey.

I give it two full seasons before they are back to the original style. I know there's alot of people in the game-worn jersey collecting community that aren't happy.

Yup. No reason not to think that those jerseys are identical to what the NHLers will wear (different logo, of course).

Methinks we've got ourselves a scoop.

One of many who is too boring; thinks that there should be rules regarding grammar in custom user titles, and also makes moderators wonder if there is a charachter limit here. I mean come on- you would think that would be a limitation in the software

The logo is pretty bland, but meh. The vertical striping is horrible though. I wish for RBK to suffer a thousand bankruptcies for what they are doing to the look of hockey jersies.

I'm not a fan of the logo or jersey design.

As another poster said, a dragon or something would have been a little more original and probably a heck of a lot cooler.

The RBK jersey style just looks like they're trying to push a more 'modern' look onto us fans.........what is wrong with the old-time look??

Not a big fan.
