If my memory serves me correct, wasn’t the guy who announced the Rangers pick, was the same guys years back who was with the Bruins and wanted to flip pucks with Washington in order to get Backstrom instead of Kessel, then he told McPhee who they were going to draft and McPhee reneged because he wanted Backstrom? Everything on video as well. Interesting that he’s held that prominently after that blunder.
