Vogelbach looks nearly every bit like Prince Fielder.

Derek Fisher is not having a good game. Poor guy already has an uphill battle to win over fans. Games like these are not going to help.

Part of me wants the Jays to re-sign Smoak, but then he hits a hard grounder up the middle that the fielder has to dive into CF for with his momentum taking him away from first, he gets up and throws to first and gets Smoak by about 3 or 4 steps. He is so damn slow its god awful. He gets on base lots but isnt much of a threat while he's on them.

Isn’t that the truth. With Morales out of the league it’s probably down to Pujols or Smoak for the captain slow pants award.

Didn't hurt TJ Zeuch today... he threw a complete game 1 walk no-no.

Why did Boshers only get one inning? Am I missing something? What was the point of that?

He opened. Lots of the time an opener might only get an inning.

Usually they give them long enough to pinch hit for them though

I really wish the Blue Jay's would just call a spade a spade or in this case call Sean Reid-Foley a relief pitcher. It was obvious after two pitches that he didn't have it tonight and he doesn't have it enough nights. You can get away with that more as a single inning reliever.

I think he just isn’t a major league caliber player. You can’t have a reliever walking as many people as he does.
