Did they have a bunch in stock or only a few of them?

As for cheese, I used Ford Farms coastal cheddar:

It's good stuff.
Where do you get this? Any grocery store, or somewhere specific?

Same. I've seen it at Safeway too, though.

This one is similar if you can't find coastal, I've seen it in other stores, and Costco:

I am current grillling a load of ribs on my BBQ. Been working em now for about 90m on around 200.

Threw some wood chips in a smoker tray as well.

Brisket over here today. Best brisket I have made to date. I nailed it this time. I thought about giving it another hour or so but my gut was telling me to pull the brisket off and I'm glad I did. It had the perfect bend and was so juicy.

I assume BBQs Galore has something but if there's a cheaper option I'll go for that. Prefer not to buy on Amazon.
Did you ever find a longer NG hose? I am at the furthest point with my existing hose but I would like to relocate my bbq at some point. When I inquired at BBQ Galore they told me I had the longest available hose and that it was against code to go longer. If I wanted to move my grill it would have to be plumbed in with a gas line extension. I never bothered to actually follow up on checking the code or anything.

Bought the Maverick thermometer I posted. Used it on a beef roast we smoked with charcoal and mesquite.

Came out beautiful. About 5 hours and off at 155 inside temp

Thermometer works great. Crazy how far off it is to my built in one.

I did not. I ended up just hooking it up directly off the gas at the side of the house rather than the outlet in my back yard, because it was much closer to where I wanted the grill. My understanding is that 20 feet is the maximum length where you can be reasonably sure of consistent pressure, though.

Fire made the meat good. Wound up grilling for about two hours in a foil pan, then put em on the upper grill bone side down for about a half hour. Jus used seasoning salt, some pink Himalayan salt, pepper and threw on some parika

As the chef I selected the juiciest slab for myself.

Threw the last of the roast in the meat slicer nd cut thin

Fried up onion, red pepper and a jalapeño,

Tossed in the sliced roast.

Made a juice from beef broth, wochester sauce, ketchup and Dijon mustard.

Topped with Mozzarella and cheddar (only cheese we had in the house)

Just as good as yesterday’s right out of the smoker. Great long weekend for eating. Mmm

So I added a NG BBQ yesterday and I've got a gas line already set. The issue is I can't get the quick connect to...well, connect. Anyone know any solutions? Is there more than one type? It looks like it should be right, but I can't get the BBQ line to "click" into gas line.

Can you take some pictures?

BBQs Galore has all manner of adapters, albeit pricey.

it sounds like your NG bbq was made in edmonton

i don't know if there is more than 1 type of connection. there are different sizes (1/2", 3/8", etc.). have you tried any kind of lubricant on the one end. sometimes with new connections they are suuuuper snug. a tiny bit of oil or maybe a drop or two of liquid dish soap.

i know when i attached our current bbq it was crazy snug, but it did connect eventually.
