It's fun to throw it out on a discussion forum, and we all are aware of the history, but to chant it in a stadium during a game is petty and juvenile IMO.
Let's try to move on from ancient history. This is a good team that doesn't deserve to have the shadow of a completely different team hanging over them.

Domingue has been average but the team has won games for him many times. Sound familiar... I definitely would rather face him than Vasilevsky. Go Flames!

I think this game will live up to its billing. 5-4 Flames win in OT. James Neal will score tonight!

Ok, whatever everyone, have at 'er. I'm just saying I've moved on and the entire franchise has turned over except for Ken King and maybe the Flames media manager Peter Hanlon. Does it really make sense to hold on to something that happened 15 years ago....still?
It happened. The officials missed it. Technology was poor back then. It definitely wasn't the only missed goal call that year. I'm simply not going to sit around and whine about it, especially when this current team looks like they're capable doing great things this year. I'd much rather focus on the present and the future than look back in despair at the past.
But do as you all see fit.

It’s also immature to go to a sporting event and cheer like an idiot because someone puts a rubber thing into a basket, but here we are.
It’s just fun, I don’t think anyone is really still moping around 15 years later because of it.

We hates them forever! They stole the precious from us. Nasty. Tricksy. False.
