Yeah, not looking good for him. And it isn't for want of opportunity. He just hasn't seized those opportunities that he's had.

Can't imagine that there is much of a trade market for him though.

Hard to say.

With so many teams trying to sign him in the summer you’d think at least one would think the Flames haven’t “handled” him correctly.

Super pumped for this game tonight.

6-2-2 in the Dome this year 6-3-2 overall in live games.

Maybe its a discussion fit for the trade thread, but a second round pick for Czarnik would be found money. All the same, He has another year on his contract and he could turn his game around. I am fine being patient with him, but I understand why he gets passed over when the lineup is healthy.

Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
#Flames updates. David Rittich will start. Ryan Lomberg is in. If Sam Bennett and James Neal get cleared by medical staff, they’ll be in. Michael Frolik won’t play until after Christmas break.

The Blues would probably have plenty of interest, and the Flames likely have interest in a player or two on that roster as well.

Really hyped to be going to this game tonight. I have a feeling the dome will be noisy.

Was it a broken foot or did they keep what happened under wraps?

Big measuring stick game tonight. If the Flames bring their A game, this should be a hell of a battle. Rittich getting the start is excellent news.

Treliving wouldn't say any more than LBI. It was speculated to be a broken ankle.

I could see him getting a week or two in Stockton to get back up to speed and then getting recalled.

Agreed. And the Flames wouldn't suffer for it as Kylington has been fantastic

It's a serviceable group and nothing to be down on.

Yes, once Frolik returns it will look much more more versatile, but the team is doing just fine as it is. The fact the franchise now has guys like Czarnik, Quine, Lomberg, Mangiapane, Dube that can plug in as opposed to crummy vets playing out their careers is a huge plus.

He’s looked very ineffectual. He’s been outperformed by multiple callups. I don’t think he’s found a fit on the team or on any line.

I could definitely see him dealt.

I don't even remember how he got hurt. What happened?

All I can think of is the odd fall from the hit he took in Arizona. Unless it was a injury in practice.

Looks like Flames will not face Vasilevskiy

Caley Chelios

@CaleyChelios

Forward lines from #Bolts morning skate:
Miller-Stamkos-Johnson
Palat-Point-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Gourde
Erne-Paquette-Martel

D pairings from #Bolts morning skate
Hedman-Stralman
McDonagh-Cernak
Coburn-Girardi
Koekkoek-Sergachev

Domingue in the starter’s net, he’ll likely get his first game on the trip vs Flames tonight.
