The funny thing about this Anaheim hot streak:

A month ago, the Flames were 3 points up with a game in hand over the Ducks.

The Ducks then go on an absolute tear, going 10-2-1.

Which brings us to today, where the Flames are 3 points up with a game in hand.

I think I hate the Ducks more than the Canucks. Which is saying a lot.

It's like their sole purpose an organization is to troll the Flames.

Is big comebacks from top teams just a trend this year? Nashville just tied their game at 3-3 after being down 3-0.

Ducks are legit, once they get Perry back around March. They will make a bit of noise I think. I don't want to see a Flames vs Ducks matchup in the playoffs.

refs now ref for comebacks.

If you're down in the 3rd, you're going to get power plays. And while you're down, you can hook and grab like crazy to keep yourself in it.

I know I'm not supposed to like the Ducks winning but seeing oiler fans souls get crushed makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Well at least Vegas lost. I’m a bit more scared of them than the Ducks.

Unfortunately there's some truth in that. Going back a couple of weeks there was that blatant trip in Backlund with an open net that the officials chose to look the other way to keep the game within reach for the Wild. I wish they would just be consistent from opening puck drop to final buzzer but they try too hard to manage the game.

Heiskinen ( Dallas) and Chabot are ridiculously skilled and mature for their age.

Have to think about a comparison for Chabot.

As a comparison, Chabot should become a more offensively skilled Pietrangelo.

Not this year. We're not giving up our place to those neanderthals.

Wish Gibson never signed with that stupid team. They do not deserve his team bailing performances.

Hopefully karlsson comes on later and the sharks take them out in 4.

The Islanders have a 2-1 lead so far late in the second period.

Agreed. I would take Nashville and Winnepig over the Ducks

I wonder if the Islanders can hold on to their lead, two other eastern teams blew decent leads.

He reminds me of Josi, they both played great tonight.

Or OEL with the Coyotes.

Pretty good OT thread all things considered. Nashville got one point and Vegas and Colorado zero. Sucks Anaheim won but not the worst.
