So glad to see Backlund injury not that significant.

I assume Rychel is up here so he can play. Czarnik out I imagine as Quine has been good IMO.

Bennett out with injury, so all 3 will play.

Good to see Smith and Backs are alright.
I’ll give props to the guys in the A...we have lots of callup options, and even when the guys aren’t showing the greatest, they certainly aren’t costing us games. Keep working hard and they’ll be alright.

Really like how the Flames are calling guys up giving them extended looks. Best way to season them for the NHL pace and see how they fit in with the current team. Also gives some guys on the roster a break so we have more fresh body's through the coarse of the season. Little extra pocket bonus for the guys getting called up!

Hope it's not a head injury for Bennett

Might have bruised a knuckle on Suter's face.

That was unexpected for Backlund. Great news. Interested to see Rychel.

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
Sounds like #Flames LW Sam Bennett's injury is very minor ... Most likely, back-in-action-Tuesday-in-Dallas minor.

I think it's his shoulder/collar bone based on how he went into the Dasher.

I've liked Quine a lot more than Mangiapane so I fully expected him to be sent down.

I've never been overly sold on him as I've always viewed him below Valimaki, Andersson, Kylington, Dube and Parsons on the prospects list.

For where he was drafted he is an amazing find, no doubt, I just don't know how impactful he will be in the NHL.

I still can't figure out if Mangiapane has confidence issues, or ability issues.
