Where does washing a bike fit into the water restrictions? This rain has helped with the lawn but my bikes could use a wash now.
I thought we were supposed to be back to normal today, now it "could be a few weeks", maybe I'm asking too much but it'd be nice to have a new target date.

Are you planning to do it on your drive way or indoors? (ie: garage).
There might be a difference.

You could leave the bikes outside and let nature do her thing.

Just wash your bike. It’s a low use item in the spirit of the current restrictions.

Have them stolen and use the insurance money to buy new clean ones?

It officially annoys me that the super strict fire ban hasn't been removed yet. We have more than enough water flowing to run hydrants...
Why can't I use my pellet grill?
Why can't I have a fire in my outdoor fireplace?

Cyclists dont even was their legs much less their bikes! Nor do they acknowledge the rules of the road.
You're asking too much!
They probably ignored the water restrictions! Because they are evil.

Pellet grill = solid fuel smoker?

Under the fire ban, the following are prohibited:
Open fires
Propane/natural gas fire pits
Outdoor chimeneas
Recreational solid fuel barbecues and stoves (charcoal briquettes or wood)

Pellet grill is definitely a solid fuel that's made of wood.
I dunno, my interpretation is that pellet grills are a no go. Happy to be wrong.

Probably should. If it can’t survive, it doesn’t belong.
