Man.....what a fall this dude has taken...likely 100% attributed to an alcohol/substance issue.

If I was a coach on a 4th and Goal from the 4 I would go for it and run a pretty big pick play and if it gets called it gets called and it's still an easy FG even with the penalty, and if it doesn't you steal a TD.

Interesting time management approach by McVay. Not that they had much of a prayer anyway, but multiple runs and not using the timeout once it became useless under 1:30 left is certainly terrible.

What is it with the Bears and offensive issues? The coaches and players change over the years/decades but the offense always seems to be the team's biggest issue. Waldron did a good job in Seattle helping revive Smith's career and they brought in a bunch of playmakers on offense to help Williams and they just fired the OC at the mid-point in the season. Some things just never change.

I worry that Caleb’s likely to end up like the last “generational” talent that went to a tire fire org, Mr Trevor Lawrence himself. Maybe carve out a career as a top 15-25 QB and toil away.
Still an objectively idiotic decision to keep Eberflus and this staff so they can ruin year one of your franchise QB. When it starts back over next year maybe he gets lucky and meshes with the right coaches
