I am curious as to the process / timeline.
Thanks.

2-3 weeks if things go smoothly. 2-3 months if they do not. I'd be optimistic it's closer to the 3 weeks than 3 months though.
I think many insurance companies are still wrapping up some of the hail stuff and dealing with other natural disaster stuff.

Diesel consumer here but anecdotally I do notice a difference between the various suppliers. Petro Canada seems to give me the best mileage generally speaking, Shell the worst. Will also be seeing the seasonal drop in mileage shortly I assume as they switch over to winter blend.

Interesting. My new truck manual says if I’m not using “Top Tier” certified diesel, which seems to be limited to Shell here, I should be adding diesel treatment at each fill.

Costco is also Top Tier. Not sure if they sell diesel though.

Back in my Subaru days of dyno tuned vehicles (if Husky 94 wasn't available as that fuel was actually pretty good if you were dyno tuned for it), Shell generally offered the best fuels.

I've logged my tuned car a bunch, and Shell 93 is the best now that Husky is gone.

How have you found Petro-Can’s Ultra 94 compares to Shell 93? I’ve usually switched between Petro’s 94 and Shell’s 93 interchangeably but more Petro now that I get the extra 3cpl with their linked RBC card deal. Especially with the AM having a new tune, and the RR running 660 horsepower now, picking the best quality fuel is top of mind these days.

Ultra94 isnt very good from my logging OTS tunes. I wouldn't consider it a true 94, its definitely a step below Shell 93.

Same results for me, Petro 94 is surprisingly crap.
Husky/Mohawk (RIP) 94 > Shell 93 > Chevron 94 > Petro 94.
I never logged Esso, but saw enough people report it was crap too.
TorqueDog, you're supercharged as well, right? In that case higher ethanol is actually great, as it helps with the heat issues.
G&B in Hawkwood used to have the same stuff as Husky, even after Cenovus wrecked Husky, but I'm not sure what they stock now.

Esso/Mobil 94 is below Petro Canada (is it 93 or 94?).
I didn't realize Petro is considered crap, but I'd say it's better than Mobil/Esso by a noticeable margin.
Mobil/Esso 94 is still better than most garden variety 91 though.

I was always under the impression when it came to Canadian gasoline and you wanted to max out performance with premium fuel it went:
Husky
Shell
Everyone else

Yeah, the RR is a supercharged 5.0L V8 so ethanol is fine, but the AM is a naturally-aspirated 4.7L V8 with a high redline and doesn't benefit from it.
I used to have zero qualms running higher ethanol blends with my turbo cars over the years -- 335i N54 running a JB4, Merc M278 TTV8 with a custom tune -- those cars loved the ethanol. And nowadays, it's nearly impossible to find ethanol-free fuel thanks to idiotic federal regulations.

Base, no options at all. When I bough my Micra, that was a 30k truck. All I see driving around are new vehicles, and yet everyone says time are hard. Well, #### yeah they are if you’re paying $800/month for a base model truck lol.

I was helping a friend look at trucks recently and I couldn’t believe the Frontier price either. I can’t remember if it was 2019 or 2020 but you could get a Frontier “night shadow” trim or something like that and it was well equipped and I think it was $33K.
