Ugh, every ford I take on trade, and every Ford I have owned have steering wheel issues after a few years.
Some of them I'll get CR techniques to fix if their bad enough... you'd be surprised how cheap an OEM wheel is for domestic cars sometimes. Not always, but if it's a run'o'the'mill XLT or something, not a GT500 or Raptor they are usually a few hundred bucks. Repairing them only tends to last a year or so at best before they start re-peeling.

Free staplers (and other nonsense) for everybody!
I know (think?) you're joking, but it's not really the same.
In the case of the car business (and any business with outside investors), all business decisions essentially boil down to one thing: growth.
If I sold 100 cars last quarter, all I really need is to sell 101 cars this quarter, even if I could sell 105... Instead, I'll save some of those sales, so I can sell at least 102 cars next quarter.
Again, sucks if you're waiting for your car, but really it's just business as usual.

Russia to build an EV. Spoilered to protect your eyes.

I wonder if it sits so high because it's just got a floor of lead acid batteries? The frunk doesn't look accessible.

Yikes. I guess, at this point, what's one more war crime?

And what the hell are those things on the side? A failed attempt at beauty marks?

Potato ports. It runs on potato batteries, so you just pop them in.

Whatever they are, apparently they aren't on the drivers side when you look at the pics in the article.

Well ya, the driver's gotta drive. The passenger can step out onto the convenient step, and plop them in as needed. There are no windows in the back, because it's full of potato.

Knowing Russian tech, it'll either not run at all, or run directly into a hospital.

It's really the EV and 2023 equivalent of a Lada. But hey it can help make Canada's target of 20% Evs in 2 years.

The pig snouts drive bimmer fans crazy.
Personally I think it's fine on the M4 but they don't do SUVs any favors.
