Hi Mike. Thanks for doing this. How realistic are the values you see on sites like HonestDoor?

Probably not quite the question you're expecting, but I've always wanted to ask it, lol.

Why, in videos that realtors do of properties, do they always have all the taps open, running the water? Seems peculiar. Particularly in videos done of high end/luxury homes.

Many people refer to Honest Door as a resource to determine value but it can vary quite a bit. They don't have really any particular information about a property other than general community statistics and data. We are always happy to give a specific review of sales data when requested. A real estate agents market analysis is always going to be the most reliable information.

I think it's more of an artistic touch by the videographer. Interesting observation!

Seems terribly wasteful, to run water for that. Also have noticed that if there is a gas stove, the burners are also lit for the video.

Just weird to me.
