These first two episodes have been outstanding. The supernatural element was totally unexpected, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Honestly, you could switch out Danvers and Navarro for Mulder and Scully and it would make for a killer X-Files episode.
Foster is terrific, and the ties to season 1 are intriguing. I'm excited to see where the rest of this goes.

Does every post really need to be in spoiler tags? Once the episode has aired locally, it should be fair game and it's on anyone opening the thread to ensure they've watched the episode.
A courtesy "Discussion of Season 4, Episode 2 starts here..." is nice, but even that isn't necessary as long as it's after 10pm on Sunday.

Appreciate the spoiler tags. A few extra keys for the poster and one or two extra keys for the reader is really not a big nuisance for me.

But why? If you haven't watched the episode yet, what are you hoping to read? If you have watched it, what benefit do the tags provide?
It is a nuisance because no one gives any indication about what their post is about, so you take a risk that the spoiler will be an actual spoiler for something in the future rather than just a discussion of something that's already happened.
I had the "Purple Wedding" spoiled for me in one of the Game of Thrones threads because people were writing about an aired episode using spoiler tags, then someone posted "if you thought that was crazy, wait until you see how <certain character name> dies" in a spoiler tag, but I clicked on it assuming it was a continuation of the discussion that was going on about the current episode.

Generally, the rule is once something has been officially aired, it's fair game to post on. If you haven't watched the already aired episode, you shouldn't be in the thread unless you don't care about spoilers. You also shouldn't be upset by people speculating at what might happen next. That's also what these threads are for.
GoT was a bit of a different situation, because you had the books and you had leaked episodes and scripts. I definitely had some stuff spoiled by a couple of jackasses who read the script and then pretended they were speculating but actually just stating what was in the scripts.

Spoilers is just good manners. After that, it on the poster who opened it.

Enjoying this one so far. Interesting characters, weird angle on the big crime, good tidbits being sprinkled out on backstories.

Jodie Foster is amazing!
ugh i haven't watched season 1 since it originally aired. Do we really need to watch it again?

I'm rewatching it. It's a great show to rewatch, as the plot was fairly confusing the first time around. Now that I know the plot, I can focus on the acting/character development. Plus you get to see all the hints along the way and see how the characters actions influence the outcome.
A few scenes haven't aged well, but it's mostly amazing.

I find it funny that to make Harrelson and McConaughey younger they just touch up their hair and slap vaseline all over their faces. Slightly less jarring than some of the AI and computer graphics you see now though.

Well, Lund wasn’t as grotesque as I was fearing. Otherwise, I am not sure that episode moved the story along too much.

This season may be worse than the Vince Vaughn season.
